Ha! I didn't know that was you, I haven't played in forever and didn't recognize the new names.

I assume you're talking about the hand where I hit the ten on the river?

Lol yes. I raised from 500 to 1250 with the :ad::ah:, then I started praying "let someone reraise, let someone reraise" and you repopped to 3K from the blinds and I just smooth-called being all sneaky and shit.

Then the flop comes :js::9s::jc: and you fire 5K into a 6.2k pot and I shove all-in covering and you make the call with :tc::th: and I'm celebrating and have already spent the $5 bounty I know is about to come my way and then Jokerstars is like "not today my friend!" and the turn comes :5c: and the river is the :ts: and I'm down to 1400 chips.

Plus, it's late at night so I can't even go to a PetSmart and buy a puppy to kick, so it's like a double beat!

At least I can take solace that you got Dave with a beat too, please share!! :P

...and on your right, you will see how sample sets or small numbers of chips are properly packed and shipped. Prior to the "pack in a pack" methods of PCF, chippers around the world used a method called "ship and pray".

Now in the next exhibit hall of chipping history...

My years as a museum docent are beginning to surface.

I don't recall the exact sequence. I think we were four handed and I had J8 and Dave had KQ.

Flop was J98. Dave checked, I bet, Dave called.

Turn was a T. Dave checked, I checked. (Dave's plan was check-raise me all-in on the turn)

River was an 8. Dave bet, I pushed all in, he called.

My reaction was indeed FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU---! Chips are hot in person.

I always mention to people that the AS tournament chips look way better in person than in pictures. Not that they don't look good in pictures, but it's hard to capture how nice they are in real life. And the stamps themselves are about as good as it gets (IMO).

The color on these are amazing. Pictures don’t do them justice....which seems to be the case with most Paulson chips. I will see pictures of some chips on here and think “those look nice.” Then when I get to see them in person the colors are so much more vibrant and I’m like “Those look niiiiiiiiiice!” (y)
Thanks @bentax1978 !!

Pretty close. T8 suited raises pre-flop, called by KQ suited in BB.

Flop = T98 rainbow. Check, bet, call.

Turn = J. Check, check. Dammit.

River = 8. Bet, raise all-in, call, crap.
