Had a 3-way race for 2 100's last night. Player #1 got 3 cards, including an A, player #2 got a 10 and a 6, player #3 a 10 and a 4.

Do I ignore the 10's and go with their 2nd cards, or deal each another card as a tie-breaker? Is there something else I'm missing?

If I had 2 players with one card each engaged in a tie, I'd have to deal tie-breaker card, right?

Color ups are instead if a racebis another way to handle this.

Especially if it's a multi-table tournament where because of table balance before chipping up, it's possible not to have an even number of colored up chips on each table...

You're talking about 1/2 to 1/4th or 1/5th of the smallest chip in play.

Suits. Ranking is reverse alpha order. Spades is high; clubs is low.

If you can't remember the order of the suit ranks, it's alphabetical starting with the lowest rank. Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts and Spades.
