*** edit: removed link - I'm going to take my own pictures once I pick up a few of these ***

I've got a local source for these who has a crapton at a really cheap rate. I'll be able to get at least 200 setups.
Cost: $2 per two deck setup (red/blue)
Shipping: exact cost via USPS first class or priority, let me know

Post your interest list here; I'll request payment up front... sorry, I can't take an out of pocket hit to front this.

EDIT since I got an admin PM about auctions:

PCF, its Owners, Admins, Mods, and anyone else are not responsible for this Group Buy. (this was the only point in the copypasta that seems applicable to Group Buys)

EDIT:

Mathieu - 8 (cancelled; USPS international rates are downright obscene)
sergiophil - 10 (paid) (packed) (shipped)
krafticus - 6 (paid) (packed) (shipped)

Everyone, please let me know if this looks right. Payments via Paypal annorax@annoraxgames.com, please DM me your address if you use F&F.

I tried packing a SFRB and could only get 3 setups into it bulging. I don't think this is a good way to ship these & will only use this if requested.

US Shipping:
flat rate envelope $6.95 (fits 4 setups)
MFRB $14.35 (fits 20 setups)
LFRB $19.95 (fits 30 setups)

I'll make a post office run Monday before work for boxes and get cracking on shipping paid setups then.

==================

Looks like a lot of cases didn't make it. If you have missing cards, post or DM me. If you have missing cases, let me know. I'm honestly not sure how much to refund you guys or how much of a loss I can afford to take on this beyond the refunds already issued. Be advised I've asked for mod rulings on how much to pay out on top of full refunds for anyone who asks.

How many do you think can fit in a SFRB/MFRB? And are these cards any good?

If they’re halfway decent, I may grab a bunch.

I've never played with them. The thread in the cards section was intended to find someone who had and could give an honest opinion.

I’m definitely interested to hear someone’s review on these. Is this deal too good to be true?

I’m hoping for an informed opinion before I commit to a bunch. Who’s the playing card guru on this forum?

I'd frankly rather have a review as well; I've confirmed the seller has at least 250 setups, but haven't committed to anything yet.

Never heard of them until now and probably wouldn’t get them if the are only available in poker sized. Any info on the manufacturer would be helpful.
Unless you need massive quantities of the same cards, I’d rather spend $8.50 on those Cartamundi CCPs for sale on Amazon. A known company and product.

It's someone on Facebook Marketplace, so if they're full of it I'll at least be able to back out and refund everyone.

I’ll be in for 5 setups, would definitely be interested in someone’s review.

Edit-

I’ll take 10 setups since the review.

I'd be in for 6 setups, unless shipping/reshipping becomes more than than the cost of the cards.

These are the cards in question I believe. Stopped in at TPS and spoke w the owners. Story goes they found their current inventory in a lot buy for casino parties. But they tried and couldn’t find out any info on who makes them etc.

Overall the cards are decent, surprising given the low price. They have a paper like feel, the cards feel slightly thinner than copags but are slightly stiffer than Copags. More snap than Copag and have an ever so slight gritty feel but def no Modiano. They play well easy to riffle, pitch, and wash. Nice bright whites faces and bright reds. Little bit of a top card slide but they are new. Pips are bigger than Copags but not as large as Gemaco jumbo.

Interestingly these are poker size but they are slimmer by an 1/8 to a 10th of an inch it seems, so the decks feel good in hand. One pic shows the difference. Curious to see the durability but I’d imagine they won’t hold up quite like higher priced varieties. Overall these cards don’t have the refinement/finish that Gemacos or Kems would have (which is to be expected), but the cards are good especially at $2 a setup, i paid $6. These would be great deal for someone looking for lots of setups for multi table tourney use. Any Qs let me know.

I have a guy in my regular tournament with a bad case of murder-fingers. He mangles a card or two every session and we need to retire entire decks when we don't have a matching donor deck. For future-proofing our tourney and to set aside a couple of decks to pull cards from, I'd be interested in a good number.

At that price, put me down for 20 setups.

FWIW, this is why we never play with good cards and this one guy, in particular, is never allowed to touch my KEMs.

So Kleenex?
You think Copag cards are super thin? I know we used to use them at your house back in your hosting days. We use them practically everywhere else we play. I have to say I disagree with this comment. The ones we used last week at Treece's were the new Copag Unique cards and they were very impressive. We used Copag WSOP cards the week before at Bill's and they were sweet cards as well IMO.

I like Copags, they are a solid mid-level option and a great choice, especially for those just starting to delve in to the world of plastic cards. I have no complaints.

But the 1546's are super thin. Not a bad thing, just an observation.

If the OP cards weren't full bleed, I'd pick up a dozen or so.

For $2/ sign me up.

I think the best method for shipping is to load them into a SFRB and then put two into a flat rate envelope. Can’t remember how many fit into a SFRB. I’ll try it out tonight. If the cards aren’t good the case is worth the $1.

Again I have to stress this is not affiliated with Texas Poker Supply. They have their good pictures of the cards, and I've offered to include them in this group buy in case they need more inventory, but this is all just me behind this, cleaning out a local seller with probably a very similar story to how Texas Poker Supply came into their inventory.

Accounted for so far:

Mathieu (8 setups)
sergiophil (10 setups)
krafticus (6 setups)
MoeTremper (20 setups)
SiouxperStack (5 setups)
Forty4 (2 setups?)
Josh Kifer (however many fit in a MFRB - will find out tomorrow)

Seller wasn't available for me to pick up the cards today. I'm going to pick up 100 setups from her tomorrow and get them shipped over the weekend. Please hold your payments for now, I will post Paypal once I have the cards in hand.

Depending on how they feel when you get them, I'd be up for a MFRB full of them. We go thru cards like mad.

I’m in for however many fit into a flat rate envelope. I’ll do the math tonight

I'm a card junkie, While I'm not a fan of full bleed backs or poker size (I do love jumbo index though) for that matter. However, I'll try just about any card (once) and for the price I'll put em' to use for cribbage or other card games if they don't work out for poker.

Put me down for 5 setups please. :)
