Sold City Casino BG HU4Rollz (1 Viewer)

A 200 chip HU set of City Casino Bourgogne et Grasset JAV series chips. Very used, the higher the denom, condition gets a bit better. These can be refurbished quite nicely though, if someone is willing to put in the work. Do note that some of the red chips look a little darker than others, possible UV-damage and not reversible. Also included are two poker size plastic decks by Cartamundi (backs are the same color). May come with racks or not, depending on how I decide to pack them.

I wonder which line the chips at the Vic Casino in London uses. I loved those chips and have been disappointed that other BG chips haven’t felt the same. I always thought it was just me not really remembering how they felt, but maybe it’s been different lines.

The top £1 and the £5 look like BG JAV chips to me, the £5 just has the deeper style inserts. Not sure who manufactured the other two £1 chips.

Kind of the reason I want these chips is to see if the difference is just that they are worn (like the vics I played) vs the newer more mint chips I bought.

Yeah new BG chips have a hard and sleek finish, which I'm not a fan of. It makes the chips slippy in stacks and when the chips are used that finish gets torn up on the edges, as seen especially on the blue chips. Once that finish gets worn down, the chips play much better and feel very much like new Abbiati chips do, just a bit heavier.
