I should change my search terms to porker so I find people selling chips that don’t know what they are worth.

I’ve messaged this seller multiple times about a month ago. Initially he said he would ship these. Then they were marked sold, then available, then sold again, then available again. Now they’re re-listed. Something feels off about this listing. I wouldn’t send any money and expect them to be shipped. Just my two cents with of advise.

For what it’s worth, @ironchipper, any set that is on marketplace for an extended period of time usually isn’t available. Either they’ve been sold and they didnt take the post down. Or the post/seller is wack and un-responsive.

My best advice is pull the trigger as soon as you see the ad. Try and get them to ship to ya for a few extra bucks. If the ad is a couple days old chances are one of us marketplace hawks has already made an offer.

If the ad has recently been posted or is under 24hrs, you have a chance to be first in. There are a handful of us that frequently check fb for chips. We get the chips mostly by chance. Whoever happens to stumble upon them and message first usually gets the score. A lot of people are honest and honor first come first serve. Especially when you stuff money in their hands.

And posting scores in here opens up the possibility of someone jumping on the sale and offering a ton more or informing the seller that the chips are worth way more than they are selling them for. That’s happened a few times. All of a sudden the seller stops talking or takes down the ad.

Then it pops up a day later at $7/chip.
