Wanted Chips to use as Horseshoe Quarters (1 Viewer)

Hey there. With this being my first chip purchase, the Horseshoe chips, I don't have much of a background in the chip game. I am looking for something I could turn into quarters with the labels that people are using from gear. If you have something that will work let me know. Any insight would be appreciated.

The hot stamp things is cool too, but that is something I am totally unfamiliar with. Anybody else going this route that could shed some light?

As suggested I probably should have put a budget on this. People are sending beautiful chips but are out of my price range.

I like pink and blue and orange and yellow chips with edge spots, and casino used is no problem since the rest of the set is as well.

I would like to keep it under $1 a chip if possible.

I have gear labels coming for some Brown spotted Lucky Derby chips as well as pink $2 lucky Derby chips. Not 100% sure when they are showing up but it will be soon

Yeah...Those $2 lucky derby chips would look awesome. Is there work to be done on the chips before applying the label?

Once I have the labels I'll do a test and
Maybe give the hotstamps a quick scrape with a 1/2" chisel to remove any high spots.

You could do either RHC or THC mold (depending on your preference) since the set is already mixed.
Might want to list a price range and if you have desired base color.

These would work nicely, but are live chips, so over $2 each unless you harvest them yourself.

I have one of these Jack $2s that I relabeled. I'll try to remember to upload a pic of it after work. We should start a thread in the pr0n section for all the various fracs people are making for their sets. There are several great options.

These chips are very nice and will make nice quarters for your set.

Not yet... just photo shop for now.
Seems a sharpie on smooth inlays can be pretty easily removed with just a blue scrub pad (I'm sure a magiceraser would work as well).
Probably would also come off with rubbing alcohol or NON-acetone nail polish remover.
I may use black nail polish..more testing to be done (on less expensive chips of course)

I would take a stroll through the classifieds section of the forum. Lots of good stuff listed there lately, and some good prices.

(Shameless plug: I have a bunch of solid Paulsons and Tourette's up there right now. They're probably a solid route to consider when it comes to relabel-able fracs on a budget: http://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/solids-paulson-asm-roulettes-and-no-molds.15766/)

Good luck with your search. Finding the right fractional chip is, for me at least, half the fun of building the set.

OK, here it is... of course you could do any faux shaped inlay with this. Cog might look cool
