Completed CHIPS* New SUN Mold*, WEB Mold, GREEK Mold *APRIL 2025* (7 Viewers)

$80 is the fee per set. Sometimes we can get a cash and tourney set for one label fee if the denomination count is not too high.

Does anyone know if the Mirage or Monaco Poker Chips from Apache are the exact same ones as the web molds offered here?
I was thinking of getting a set there but then designing a few custom denominations here and wanted to make sure the size/feel was the same.

how can i be alerted when the next buy opens?

Hey @cybot , welcome to PCF.

@justincarothers ’ vendor name on PCF is Broken Arrow Cardroom Supply, and he can be found here:
Broken Arrow Cardroom Supply

Go there and you’ll see a list of all active Sales, Preorders, etc. Right now there are group buys (GB’s) listed for his playing cards, chip racks,, chip samples from previous GB’s, and dealer buttons, as well as a preorder for the newest Tangiers tribute chip design.

On the right side, just above the top listing, you’ll see a small button that says “Watch”.
Hit that, and then choose the option for “New Threads”, and then choose how you want to get your notifications.
Now you’ll get notified every time he starts a new sale!… you can unwatch whenever you want.

The process is basically the same if there is any other thread or forum somewhere else on PCF you want to “watch”. You can even further specify to “watch with notifications” or “watch without notifications”, too.

You can find a list of all the threads and forums you’re watching in the drop-down menu under the headings tab marked FORUMS found at the top of any page, just under the PCF logo.

Makes it a cinch to stay on top of stuff here. Good luck and enjoy.

There should also be a button “watch the contents of my wallet empty”

The mirage chips Apache sells are web mold hybrids, so I'm 99% sure they will be the same. Price wise they will be similar via a group buy here versus ordering from Apache. I ended up ordering for Apache last week, largely because I was too impatient to wait 3 months for a group buy

And in this thread Apache says his are "web mold hybrid"

Sorry for the double post, I couldn't figure out how to edit my other one.

I’m thinking they are identical but I will know for sure in about a month. I bought via Apache (tourney set pictured below) and the February group buy (cash set on the way).

I own samples of both Apache and Justin's Mirage poker chips. Although I'm not an expert, my assessment is that they feel quite similar. Some of Justin's chips feature slightly darker colors, but that is the primary distinction. Their sound and feel are nearly identical. Ultimately, I chose to purchase the chips here because I prefer the appearance of the 1996 issue. However, since I haven't received my order yet, I cannot provide further details at this time.

I thought some are black label 100, 1000, and whatever the pink is... 25k?

Yes, there is a version available here with the black labels too, if you prefer these. The black labels are on the 100, 1000 & 20k on the 1989 issue and 100, 1000 & 25k on the 1996 issue.

Seems like Apache probably made a substantial order to have enough stock to sell - purely speculating here - but I wonder if that’s what caused the delay to the group buys last year? No hate towards towards Apache, just wondering out loud.

Wouldn't apache go straight to Tina?

Nice to see them side by side like that! I was torn between the 1989 and 1996 styles, and also the all white labels vs. black on the 100/1000. But there's really no wrong answers here. :-)

Yeah, it's really just a matter of what you prefer (and it's nice to have all those options). I personally also went with the sun mold, because I liked the look better.

Please let me know if this is the wrong place to ask this question:

Has anyone tried or know if its possible to print edge designs across multiple chips with Tina?
Examples I saw from other threads:

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/attachments/img_6632-jpeg.1483413/
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/attachments/20210919_190851-jpg.781003/
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/attachments/20210919_190429-jpg.781002/
That's cool but it may not be multiple edge prints. If it's a four chip edge design at each 90 degree of each chip print a slice:
12 oclock: Top 1
3 o'clock: 2nd slice
6 o'clock: 3rd slice
9 o'clock: Bottom Slice.

Then rotate the same chip 90 degrees for chip porn photo ops.

If that's how it's done it's very easy for Tina to do.

And if it isn't done like that you're just ordering multiple chips with same face and different rolling edge. [Minimum 25 each]

Both scenarios Tina can do.
