I have permission by GOCC for them to reprint the old Egyptian artwork, I think we should do a massive group buy of that.

They make their own blanks on the same equipment that ChipCo/GOCC did. The chips in the photo have a recess. Its for aesthetics not labels.

Yes, I would not want to mimic clay chips either. Full graphic designs that may not need rolling edge alignment is the direction I would like to go.

It's a new blank with a very shallow recess, for aesthetics only. Not for labels.

Here is a close up of a recess mold chip. I just noticed the company logo stamped into this style blank.

I personally like the non-recess, smooth original blank better.

I’ll tell you what, I’ve never opposed knockoffs from a perspective of how they might affect the value of my chips. But if I were a guy who’d payed a lot of money for the Chipco Monsters chips or the Egyptians, I’d be livid if those designs were copied onto Chipcos.
