Looking to see what general preference is. Me personally, I like lighter weighted chips. But what does that mean? Is it 9-10g; <11.5g? Not sure and curious as to everyone’s thoughts and reasoning why. I just bought Nexgen Remix ProClay and I like the weight and that it's not a slug.

There are lots of pcf beloved chips that are under 9 grams and plenty of chips that are even lower than that. But aside from that, weight isn't near the top of my checklist.

While training and drilling in the Army as young conscripts, we sang:
"The Greek soldier's dick is heavy,
oh so heavy"
:)

My CPCs weigh in at 8-8.5g and i like them a lot!

I strongly prefer 13 g chips, and not because I think they are higher quality. I just really really like the weight. Lighter weight chips strike me as toys in comparison. Just my sensibilities! In my league we play hand-customized dice chips for the regular season games, and for the season championship the high point qualifier gets to choose between a Mint set and a set of Stripe Suited V2’s. I know from cruising here that I’m in a tiny minority. I’m actually in several of those so very appropriate for me!

If I could order a Clay CIC set I would. They are often the heaviest chip around, I also like the Matsui 43m plastics, and they are also heavier than avg
