Made a quick web tool to preview chip stacks for designs I'm working on. I'm sure any good designer could build these previews by hand, but I think this will often be a lot easier, faster, and more interactive.

All you do is upload chip face images and edge images. Then you can click a few buttons to see how one stack would look when dirtied with a foreign edge.

Right now, nothing ever saves. So if you refresh, everything will reset.

More features to come for sure. I whipped this up in half a day so I'm 100% sure you all will find problems, bugs, missing features, etc. I'm very happy to hear any feedback you have.

Very cool. Well done.

Gives me something else to do while I await for CPCs.

Tweaked and added a bit.

- Green felt now but eventually will let you choose
- Slight shadow on the faces to add some dimension and emulate the chip edge
- Option to upload and display the back of the chip
- Option for 43mm chips. Obviously the size on your screen may not actually be 43mm, but the ratio between 39mm and 43mm should be correct
- Added a "Present" button that hides all the controls and makes for cleaner screenshots

Want to comment as to how cool this tool is, well done! Amazing how easy it is to use, and useful!

The only main comment I would have to consider is that I noticed when you have spots that are toward the edge of the mockup... e.g. tri-spot chips below:

You end up largely missing those spots closer to the graphic edge, so likely need to do some level of "wrapping" in the logic.

So glad you find it useful! Issue noted - will take a look.

I think this has been fixed!

Handy tool. I can use it to get a mockup of my chip stacks (clean and dirty). I'm getting errors from the dirty stack button, see screengrab.

I need to learn how to output svg and/or transparent pngs of the faces from illustrator.

Good catch! Fixed now, I believe.
