Showed up early in the year looking for ceramics. Bought a set of Tiki Kings only to discover Paulson chips.

Sold the Tiki Kings and naturally purchased a set of boat chips and Jacks.

Discovered leaded/shaped inlay PCAs, sold the Jacks and boat chips, still working on the PCAs (90% complete).

So, what’s the next phase? TRKs?

My chipping journey is really going to never be complete until I own a CPC set on each desired mold.

TRKs are really great. Now that you've looked around a bit, think about what you really want in a set.
Maybe consider a custom CPC set. You will never end up with a 90% complete set again

I’m not sure I’m a multiple set kind of guy. Maybe sometime in the future as I warm up to that idea.

Definitely. Most of us go through it.

I picked up a rack of TRKs, then went back to THC. The cost to awesome factor isn't for everyone.

Note: part of the "cost" is the frustration of building a set that is perpetually a rack short.

Mixed THC is something else I haven’t considered.

This was a much more common approach prior to massive numbers of casino chips hitting the market. Still a good option imo.

Chip phase 1: Anything clay I could get my hands on for a good price.

Chip phase 2: Clay bike tire phase, something about so much wear and history with the casino used chips that I had to put together a few sets.

Chip phase 3: Jack Detroit - chips are much more uniform in sets when they are all mint.

Chip phase 4: Custom CPCs.

Still on phase 4 but considering jumping back to mint Paulson's with the upcoming sale, maybe a small set that is.

I used to think condition bitches were just being snobby. Now I get it. And that’s probably what will keep me away from TRKs - trying to find those in mint condition is no easy task.
What’s left? Probably just custom CPCs. I do love BCCs but my lack of interest in fantasy chips or OPC (other peoples customs) makes BCCs unlikely too.
