So I’m looking to rework my storage system for my home games. I run a decent size home game (1-2 full tables) where I manage all the chip, buy ins, etc. I know almost everyone that comes or by association so not worried about people messing with extra chips, etc.

I currently just have a separate normal-like table where I keep all my chips on as well as boxes of card sets, additional buttons, anything poker game related. I keep all the chips organized just on the standard acrylic racks of five 20 barrels, but want to upgrade to something slightly better.

I really like the husky (or similar) toolbox drawers that I’ve seen people just put the acrylic trays in but that’s pretty expensive and I wanna stay on the cheaper side of an upgrade. I also thought about getting full size dealer trays to inlay in the surface of the table but I don’t like the idea of having the 50ct or 100ct rows or using divider chips. I really want to keep in the 20 barrels. Let me know if you know of any good dealer trays that are divided in 20ct rows.

Looking for any suggestions people have on budget friendly solutions, any rolling carts with drawers, tables inlays, etc. whatever you’ve used or seen that worked well! Thanks!

I have a dresser that I made several upgrades to:
- I reinforced the drawer bottoms, so it can handle the weight from the chips
- I removed the legs and replaced them with heavy duty casters (I need it to be moveable for when I change the setup from a 2 table cash game to a 4 table tournament)
- I installed locks on 4 of the 6 drawers (the drawers I store the chips in)
- I bought a locking cash box and screwed it to the top of the dresser (so no one can just pick it up and carry it away)
- I made some false bottoms for the chip drawers, so I can store extra chips underneath, in chip racks with covers
