Canceled Cheaper Tournament Set (Canada) (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a set of tournament chips to upgrade my dice chips. I'm wondering if any of you have a cheaper set you'd like to sell. I'm located in Canada (Toronto suburbs), so it would be great to buy from another Canadian to save on shipping, and maybe even pick-up if in southern Ontario?

I'm interested in NexGen Pro Classic, Poker Knights, or Mint/Monaco Millions as cheaper options. I have samples and believe any of them are a big improvement over dice chips for a smaller tournament set. I really like the look of Majestics and Pharaoh's from ApachePoker, but haven't gotten samples. Let me know if you are selling any of them!

I'm looking for a set good for 6-8 players so I'm thinking of 300-400 chips of the following denominations, either T5 or T25 base, but open to other breakdowns if they make sense:

T25x 100
T100x 100
T500x 60
T1000x 80
T5000x 20
360 chips

or possibly

T5x 100
T25x 100
T100x 80
T500x 20
300 chips (plus some additional for rebuys)

Probably more efficient for you chip wise. Can handle 10 players, plus one rebuy/add on or deeper starting stacks

You did a great job explaining your needs. Great post.
Only thing I'd recommend adding is your price range. Without that you may get offered a lot of sets outside of your range.

Also, people look out for each other here. If we know your range and see something come up, people will let you know to help you out.

Imo I wouldn’t touch Poker knights they are not even a step up from dice imo. A fair amount of warps and same plastic material with metal slug inside.

Nex gen and Monte Millions are fine options for a cheaper tourny set as I play in league that uses them.

I owned majestics for over 2 years. Good chip, a bit slick but stack well...although for 0.50cad per chip with about 60-70cad in shipping from Apache I would look for used set first.

My chips are not a starter set, they are custom CPC and imo the best chips I’ve had (yes even better then Paulson) for quality, colours and stack like bricks.

They are a $3cad chip that I’m selling half price to down size my set. I think it’s worth the money but that’s me.

You have to find what suits you best

FYI,
One of my buddies wanted a starter set a months ago and I recommended him the Wild West chips at Straight Poker Supplies. They are the same chips as the Monaco Millions you have samples of.

At $150 Canadian for 500 chips, and free shipping, he was very happy with his purchase. The same guys that play at my place with all my real casino Paulson sets liked them.

It really depends on budget. But if you want new chips vs beat up used casino chips, and are aiming at $200 or less Canadian, I'd recommend pulling the trigger on the Monaco Millions. Plus StraightPokerSupplies is right in Toronto.

i had some pharoahs cc for sale awhile back. they are used and show some wear, but they are great chips. still my favourite cc, they just don’t see enough use. i think i had it down to .25us per chip i’ll link the cancelled sale thread

I recall the user @Oggy selling a cool set for around 220euros + shipping. A little out of your budget, but not by a lot.

It was either Dunes or Pharaoh's CC set.
