Wanted Cheap Chips for Charity Auction (2 Viewers)

Hey Everyone,

My wife and I serve on the board of a nonprofit in Wilmington, DE that works with inner-city kids through free after-school programs, summer camps, job training, and two schools serving Pre-K through 12th grade. Their mission is to equip children, through Christ, with the skills needed for academic success, life management, personal growth, and servant leadership.

We're hosting an upcoming charity auction, and one of this year's baskets we are making is a poker night experience. The basket includes a gift card for food, a set of poker chips, and I'll personally host and deal a poker night for the winner and their friends at their home.

We've got everything covered except the chips which is where I'm hoping you all can help. If anyone has a cheap set of poker chips that have just been sitting in the closet or something they are willing to part with I would love to know! I'm happy to pay for them, not looking for a donation necessarily. Denominated chips would be ideal, but I'm open to anything.

I know I can always turn to FB marketplace and find some sluggards but I figured I would check here first.

Bought a set of King’s Casino chips for a friend as a house warming gift (looking back, not a great gift), then wanted to upgrade my own sluggos, and signed up for PCF to try to get in on the 8V China clay sale that was going on at the time.

Thanks for the offer! Let me try to get a little bit of a step up from those but very much appreciated it! Sadly I think the dice chips would go over better than those with the average consumer who has no understanding of poker chips.

I'm prepared for the roasting, but it'll probably be a standard plastic/dice set. I have 3-4 sets of them and my wife was like, "didn't you talk about selling or giving them away at some point? Do it now." She's right so I'll make sure it's in a nice case and looks good. I do plan on adding a good dealer button and a nice set of cards. I'm hoping having a dedicated dealer/host is a bigger sell than the content of the chips.
