I'm hosting a charity tournament for about 24 people and the goal is to have a lot rebuys and I want it to last about 4 or 5 hours. I was thinking of doing 15 minute levels.

I usually have 40K starting stacks but I'm debating doing 30K. I'm thinking if there's a lot of rebuys then I'll have to start coloring the big stacks up throughout the tournament.

I also want to have an add on at the end of rubuys. Maybe $40 for 15K additional chips?

Here is my breakdown with 30K starting stack

IMO, ditch the 100-300. Color up 100s as soon as you don't need them, which is after L7. Nine levels is a very long time without a break.

Okay so they want the tournament to last 4 or 5 hours so here is my updated layout. It’ll be 15 minutes levels L1 through L14 and 10 minutes starting at L15.

I run a charity tournament 3-4 times per year. We generally do $100 buy in with $60 rebuys and addon. All three get a full stack of $25k. We generally do 15 minute levels with rebuys for the first 8 levels and an addon after level 8. We take $30 of each buyin, rebuy or addon for the charity. Our blind levels are as follows:
100/200
200/400
300/600
500/1000 10 minute break
600/1200
800/1600
1000/2000
1500/3000 15 minute color up break - After this level you take off all the $100/$500 chips
2000/4000
3000/6000
4000/8000
5000/10000 10 minute break
6000/12000
8000/16000
10000/20000 10 minute break
15000/30000
20000/40000
30000/60000 rarely gets past this level

Pretty consistently, we end up with around 2 buyin/rebuy/addon per person. So with 24 people, you should raise about $1400-1500 for the cause.
