I recently grabbed a handmade leather wallet from fellow PCF member @Broski and thought I’d offer a review. Always happy to support our community makers and highlight quality work when I see it.
My next purchase will be the bank envelope for managing bills at our cash games. If someone beats me to it, drop your impressions here.

Unboxing
The wallet arrived in a standard-sized shipping box, well-packed and appropriate for the item. Inside, the wallet was tucked neatly into a cloth drawstring sack—simple, clean, and a nice touch.
Leather Quality
The first thing that stood out was the shine and texture of the leather. It looks and feels high-end—smooth surface, no creasing, and a firm rigidity that tells you it’ll break in over time rather than fall apart. For comparison, I picked up a faux-leather wallet just to see how they matched up. The faux wallet wore out in under 48 hours of back-pocket use, while the real leather (on the right in the pics below) was carried for over a week and barely shows any wear. The difference is night and day.
Craftsmanship
I went with the Jade leather (not listed on Broski’s website) paired with cream stitching. The darker green tone, combined with the thickness, cut precision, and minimalist stitching, works extremely well. I carry three cards plus cash, and everything fits snugly without feeling cramped. Nothing is slipping out; nothing is stretching awkwardly. It’s clean work.
Overall Design
I’ve always been a pockets-everywhere kind of wallet guy, so I thought the minimalist design might feel too bare at first. But after using it, the simplicity is what won me over. It’s quick to access, folds open easily, and grabbing bills at checkout is noticeably smoother than with a traditional bifold. Sometimes less really is better.
Final Thoughts
I love it. Michael is a friend, but that doesn’t change the fact that this is genuinely high-quality leather and excellent work. It gets my full recommendation. My next purchase will be the bank envelope for managing bills at our cash games. If someone beats me to it, drop your impressions here.
