The mold is just printed on the surface, and they do have a little grit/texture to them. Overall a pretty solid little chip.

The Desert Sands from Nevada Jacks were my first "quality" chip purchase 25 years ago. BR does a much better job on them than NJ did. Graphics back in the day, were very grainy and out of focus. Always loved the artwork, simple and classic.

They really are a well done, fun set that I don’t feel bad about spilling or getting ash on (basically they’re really great chips for cigar/bourbon/poker night haha)
