Ceramic blanks for straightening warped chips (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

Can someone point me in the right direction to find ceramic blanks to put between warped chips when I try to use heat/compression to fix them. No idea where I would find them. Also, any particular size to use?

got mine off of eBay years ago... the only ones I see there now are in the UK. Might want to contact Gene at ABC (one of the site vendors).

Regarding size... 39mm (standard) is fine.

I’ll take your clamps. What happened with your project? How did you screw up?

Didn't separate them with blanks, got too hot, clamped too tight...need I continue? I now have a barrel of squashed starburst with reverse hat & canes double stamped into the mold edges. I'll show you when you grab the clamps.

True, I have a bunch of really old, white starbursts that are a mess. If I get them flat, I can probably get something for them. If not, they are probably trash anyway.
