Nothing fancy here. Might go 414, but almost completely set on 314. T100 is bright white because reasons (grumble grumble).

I love 3 spot chips. Playing around with chip builder on an all 3 spot set now.

Any particular reason for only using grey and charcoal spots?

Fair question. The inspiration for the cash set - the Horseshoe Club rack on the horseshoe mold from the mid 80's - kept things relatively subdued. There were a few bright colors in the set, but by and large their rack was understated - a consistent spot pattern (for the most part) with earthier colors, so I wanted to be somewhat true to that in the tournament set. The problem is that the NCV sets from the mid 70's to late 80's in Nevada were anything but understated - loud, contrasting colors with great hotstamps, for the most part. I like hot stamped NCV sets, but as nice as CPC's product is I don't think their stamping is quite as consistent as I want it to be for my tastes. Besides, I just love the freakin' inlay & already have an NCV version made for it, so I'm running with that. Some of the base colors of the tourney set here are a little brighter and you have some nice, contrasting bases as a nod to the time period the set was based around. The spots, though, are the nod to the cash set/Horseshoe Club set. Consistent and understated, but effective.

I love a lot of the sets from back then - Fitzgeralds, Eddie's Fabulous, Ceasars Tahoe, Western Village, Karls...the list goes on. I just can't bring myself to do that specific style of set for the Cavalry Club (but would buy the hell out those samples if someone made a similar set!).
