"how does UTG flat?"
"how does button flat"
"how do two players call BB's range bet on flop?"

If you are expecting rational answers, you won't get them. This is early stage, relatively inexpensive, WSOP poker.
That’s fair I guess. You wrote this up so one of them probably has 79, or you found a fold where you would have chopped. I still think you are chopping with 77 or 7x (but not 79) and beating A3 and sets, but again I’m bad at cards and calling too often is a leak in my game.

Given the information presented and considering my hand. I just can’t find a fold here. We are only losing to ONE hand here and we blocking one of the combinations of it.

Maybe, I terrible at poker, or I’m just not ready for WSOP tournament poker.

REBUY!!!! (or move to cash) :ROFLMAO:

That's where position cost you. Even in early stages, I like leading out my strong hands and making draws and lesser hands pay to see a river.

Granted, 7/8 still has you beat on the turn, but how could you know?

So, i tank fold.

UTG calls. Q7 offsuit.
BTN turns T7 suited.

Oh well.
Ok, none of them should have called the flop either, so your point about bad early play is valid. You shouldn’t beat yourself up too much. Finding a fold is often winning poker in the long run. Unless you are an absolute nit lol.

not surprised, also think it’s good/great fold

Has to be 3 times as often this happens vs getting shown 79
I ran through pretty much the same math that you did. And also the thought that 3 betting only a loose seven given the action is tourney suicide.

It worked out for him, but what an awful play.

He won 2k bluffing you off a chop.

Button river play is bad.
UTG flop play is so absurd it makes button river play look amazing.

did you win a bracelet off these clowns?

Lol no. This was one of those events that i just couldnt catch a break. Got it in in a plo hand where tbe guy effectively had three outs (and would still be vulnerable) on the flop and hit and held. My rungood was saved up for my other tourney.

This is from Vinton poker coaching AI, which frequently makes mistakes, so take it FWIW.

FINAL RECOMMENDATION:
✅ CALL — exploitatively
You’re chopping way too often, and the math supports it.

Even if you're losing to some % of 9-7, the pot odds and chop equity justify a call.

Only fold if you know:

BTN doesn’t raise without the nuts

UTG always calls with weak straights

Otherwise — snap it off and go chip for chip.

When I have some availability I’m going to see if I can put this in GTO Wizard to see what it says. It might give an error cause it’s 3-ways.

How did you come to this conclusion? Genuinely curious.

Edit: Maybe I’m missing some action.
sure, 79 suited with a backdoor are the more reasonable flop continues of all the 79 combos that have us beat, and there is no club on the flop. They have 3 combos of 79 suited when we have the :7c: , and only 2 combos when we have any other 7. So if (and big if, this is my guess) the solver wants to fold any hands that have a 7, the 7 of clubs is the ones that makes most sense to fold. At least that’s how I’d think it would behave

Yes, I agree with the club being the worst seven to have in this scenario, but I just don’t believe the wizard is folding any 7 in this scenario. Part of me believing this is because I don’t think Solvers care about tourney vs cash, and in cash (as played) we are never folding any 7 here.

Edit: I was wrong. There’s input for cash vs tourney.
Also, I can’t do 3-way hands in GTO wizard unless I upgrade.
