Categories is a fun word game located on the same NYTimes site as Wordle. The game presents a list of 16 words (or short phrases) where four sets of four words share a common theme that you identify by selecting four you think share a category. Once you have found the first category, those four words are removed and you have to find the next connected four word set until all 16 words have been linked. The player gets a few chances to make mistakes and get feedback on how many words in a guess were correct. The puzzle makers do a good job of partial associations that you need to think through to find the right answers. Similar to Wordle, on each day everyone is playing the same game.
