Although I’m away until mid-December I’ve been working on a plan for some ‘farewell’ sets from my remaining stocks of Burt/ASM/CPC chips.
By the time I get home, all remaining chips previously in Buffalo or Maine will be in the UK. I will continue to offer the remaining barrels, including any new I might be able to make up, as I did before, but for everything else left, I planned to make up packs to sell, subject to their being sufficient demand. So if you have an interest in what I am proposing below please DM me.
Each set will contain an autographed plaque from me with a unique serial number. I can personalise if requested.

300 chips (qty available will be 5) SOLD
100 chips (qty available will be 15) SOLD
50 chips (qty available will be 30) 26 sold
I have broken everything down into 8 categories. At the bottom of this post is one sample pic of each category. Obviously not everything shown will be in every set, and there are many different chips not shown in the pics which will be included. A scarce 1950’s Burt Co chip will also be included in EVERY set. These categories will include some chips that most of you will have never seen.
There will be little or no duplication at all in the sets.

- Color and mold samples and stock chips. The 300 chip set will include approx. 125, the 100 set 23 and the 50 set 9.
- Prototypes of many styles including plenty not shown, mostly made by me during my factory visits. Note that this includes me breaking up the big lot I had been offering on the forum to try and give everyone something. The 3 set sizes will include approx. 20, 8 & 4 of these.
- Inlaid samples including molds and styles which were not normally offered as part of sample sets, including samples made to show to casinos or for other organisations. Sets will include 37, 16, 8.
- Personal chips. Over the years I have had many personal chips made, mostly at ASM and then CPC but also a few Chipco and Paulson including some officially sponsored by casinos (including logos) that I worked with – Palms, Binions and South Point. I’ve probably had over 70 different made, many not given out. Sets will include 23, 9, 7.
- Burt Co samples. The Burt Co. only ever sold through distributors so all their samples bar a few bore the name of the distributor. They manufactured all chips for many of the most famous distributors like Christy Jones, Taylor & Co, HC Edwards. Sets will include 10, 4, 2. Many of these are quite valuable.
- Casino chips. A selection of genuine casino chips made by Burt/ASM similar to those I’ve been selling in racks or barrels but generally different in that these are the ones I only had a few of. Sets will include 40, 20, 10.
- Miscellaneous chips. Just about anything that doesn’t fit into the categories above. Sets will include 25, 12, 6.
- Acrylic and dyesub Plaques/Jetons/Chips. As well as those offered over the past 11 years we also had samples made in a number of other lines and styles which were never offered to the public. Sets will include 20, 8, 4.
