Yeah, real casino chips - they're in that weird in between Paulson "semi leaded" production period, heavier than current NAGB chips and feel and sound more like the older formula.

The endless guessing game of chip collecting. I always say 10 grams each or close is perfect! Leaded... not leaded... who cares! The magic # is still 10 for a great feeling chip.

to answer your question, Yes it was the inspiration for the ES $25.
I also agree with you, I know the $25 gets the most love but I think the $5 is the best chip in the set.

I guess since we’ve seen that spot pattern so much more in recent years, the $25 shines a little less brighter today. But when I first saw it, it certainly jumped out as a goat candidate.
