Casino Chip Madness 2017: Best Casino Inlay of All Time - Nomination Thread (1 Viewer)

Looks like no matter what happens in the run off thread we'll have at most one set that has an inlay progression, i.e., different inlay designs within a single edition. So for the match ups involving that casino, I'll use $1/5/25/100 denominations for both the progression set and also post the $1/5/25/100 denominations for other set in that OP.

For the rest, since all inlay designs are the same I'll post only a single chip for each casino, using the same denomination for both whenever possible.

I think I'd predict (though didn't necessarily vote for): Kings Castle; Boulder Club (scrown); Flamingo; Dunes; Sahara; Bellagio; Tropicana; Mapes.

Kings Castle v. Boulder Club (scrown)
Flamingo v. Dunes
Sahara v. Boulder Club (arodie)
Tropicana v. Mapes

Three tough decisions this round for me personally. I still haven't voted in the Flamingo v. Dunes poll. That one is a real challenge. Only Kings Castle was a lock. And all the rest are beautiful classic designs from vintage sets that are, in my opinion, unparalleled today.

I agree about the Flamingo and the Dunes...tough choice there. The others were a lot easier for me. Come on Sahara!

I'm pretty surprised at all the results so far: how close three of the races are and how badly Sahara is whooping Boulder (arodie). I'm glad to see Sahara doing well, though. It's probably my favorite of all the nominees.
