Up for auction are two racks (200 chips) of Casino Aztar Caruthersville secondary $1s. Chips are clean and in very good condition - the edges are just broken in so they shuffle like butter but still stand on edge, please see the photos below. These are some of my favorite $1s, they match perfect with the rest of the PCA cash lineup if you're looking for a THC alternative to the PCA RHC $1.

RULES

1. STARTING BID: $700
2. Bids must be placed in minimum increments of $5
3. The Starting Bid of the auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
5. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at 8:00pm EDT, Friday June 1, 2018 will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be 5 min. after the latest bid was posted - see clarification #1 below
6. Edited posts will be voided.
7. I reserve the right to: i) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; ii) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
8. PCF (it's Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
9. Shipping Terms: Shipping is not included in the bid price, shipping within the US will be at cost via USPS flat rate with tracking. I will add signature confirmation, which I'll pay for on my end. I'll PM you the tracking number and photo of the box & receipt upon drop off at the post office. If the package gets lost, we split the lost sale value of the chips (i.e I'd refund half the sale value). You can decline the signature confirmation (I understand this is a pain for some folks), but then I forfeit all responsibility for loss/damage once I drop them off at the post office. I've always had very good luck with USPS, but I prefer to get these terms settled up front in the remote case that something happens. International shipping is OK, will be at cost, method pending county. For international shipping, the winner must accept all responsibility for loss/damage of the shipment once I drop them off at the post office here in the US.
10. Payment Terms: Payment via paypal friends and family.

Clarifications:
1. I'm assuming a bid with a timestamp of 7:59 is technically 7:59:00. So, five minutes after 7:59, the auction would close at 8:04 if there were no other bids, and any bids with a timestamp of 8:04 or after wouldn't count. And to further clarify, if there's a bid at 7:55 and no subsequent bids, the auction would close at 8:00. A bid at 7:56 would close at 8:01, and so forth.

I'm guessing that isn't actually a bid. @davin may want to clarify...

Looks legit to me.... ;):eek::D

1000 per rack def.

@davin please confirm that wasn't a bid.

Folks I'm ok with the over/under chatter for now but please make sure if you mention $$$, it's clear you're not actually bidding. Once we get to within an hour of the close I'd ask everyone to refrain from any price speculation so it doesn't confuse any bidders (and me :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:) Thanks (y) :thumbsup:

Clarified I was making a speculation not a bid , sorry if I caused harm didn't intend to

Mel's bid stands at 905 carry on!!!!

If the last bid before 8pm is timestamped 7:59, is a bid at 8:04 still valid?

Asking for a friend...... :sneaky: :whistle: :whistling:

Lol. We need to have a clarification for present and future auction participants :cautious:

No sir, the 7:59 bid would win. I'm assuming a bid with a timestamp of 7:59 is techincally 7:59:00. The rules are written that the closing time is 5 minutes after the last bid, so at five minutes after 7:59, the auction would close 8:04 and all bids afterwards wouldn't count. And to further clarify, if there's a bid at 7:55 and no subsequent bids, the auction would close at 8:00. A bid at 7:56 would close at 8:01, and so forth. I'll update the OP later when I get home from my son's ballgame.

All that being said, I have no idea how the forum timestamps work (round up/down or trunc), so I wouldn't try playing games. Well, at least those kinds of games. :D

No sir, no games. Just that there has been different interpretations of what's what, and best to avoid any controversy by clarifying beforehand. (y) :thumbsup:

Just before I go to sleep... $910 o_O

And see you all later tonight (y) :thumbsup:
