Cash Game Cash set help required... (1 Viewer)

Hi folks. TL;DR - I need some advice on the best breakdown for a non-denominated cash set, which could be used mostly for pot limit poker games but possibly other limit variations too.

Initially the games would be just for people busting out of a tourney but could develop into something in their own right. I'm guessing that the chip ratios would be the same regardless of the number of players (the only variable being the number of chips?)

So what would you say is the ideal limit game chip ratio? Is there such a thing? If it helps, I reckon the total cash in play would not exceed 1500 big blinds...

Oh and if you suggest some mass produced non-denominated chips, that would ge good too

Devise you're starting stacks and multiply by how many players you expect to have then add in a few extras and re buys and you should be good to go

For limit sets it is usually recommended to have a rack of workhorse chips (minimum) per player then a rack or two of a 20x value chips for rebuys.

Blank Milano's can be bought from Apache for $0.30 each. You could label them later if you wanted to.

I thought I read PL. If it's PL I wouldn't recommend this

Fixed limit and spread limit. Most likely it would just be pot limit.

I think what's going on is that fixed limit, and to a lesser extent spread-limit, generally play like limit games.

Pot-Limit, however, generally plays more like a No-Limit game. I consider Pot-Limit a No-Limit variant.

So Limit and Pot-Limit are very different beasts.
