Most 10-player cash games can run well with 600 chips. How many players maximum? Both tables the same stakes? What stakes? What's a typical buy-in? How many rebuys are typical?

Most of the time it’s one table 8 to 9 guys sometimes 15 to 20 guys blinds are usually 50 cent 1 dollar some time we lift the blinds to 1-2 buy in range from 60 to 150 1 table game guys getting stacked and rebuying some times 4 to 5 guys when it’s 2 tables 7 to 10 guys rebuy

Also I like to have more lower chip counts on the table instead of haveing 25 chip so guys play more loosely I notice if guys have higher chip denominations in there stack they hold on to them longer

For a 50c/$1 two table

50c x 100
$1 x 400
$5 x 400
$25 x 200
$100 x 40+

You can add in more $1 & $5 as you want but the above breakdown is sufficient for 2 table brrakdown

You could easily scale this back a bit for a 1000 chip set if you wanted to, but this should do you just fine. When I first read it, I thought, "man, that's a lot of ones", but you said you like a lot of smaller chips on the table....so there you go. You could get by with half the ones if you wanted to scale back.

1000 chip set.

0.50 * 100
1 * 400
5 * 400
25 * 80
100 * 20

Total Bank overall 6450
Total bank in 0.50/1/5 2450. (meaning you would need 24 buy-ins of 100 before you even tap the larger chips.

When I host this stake I usually start players with 6/12/x of 0.50/1/5 with x being the number of 5s needed to make the desired buy in. All players can have around 2 barrels of fives in a single table game and more like one barrel with a two-table game.

You could also consider eliminating the 0.50 chip and going with 1-1 blinds and add another 100 fives to my suggestion. The only downside to this is then you cannot downstake to 0.50-0.50 if you need to host smaller.

Good luck,

Good luck,

I concur, this should cover 2 tables at 0.50/1. Just compare the total bank to the amount on both tables in the biggest night (the former should be about double the latter).
