Moving forward with my Cascadia Club cash game set. Here's my breakdown so far:

$1 - 1000
$2 - 1000
$5 - 1000
$10 - 400
$20 - 300
$25 - 200
$100 - 100
Total - 4000

My goals of what to accomodate
  • 8 player tables
  • Two tables with the possibility of a rare third table
  • Possible games:
    • Limit: 2/4, 3/6, 4,8, 8/16, 15/30, 20/40
    • Spread Limit: 2-40, 3-100
    • No Limit: 1/2, 2/5
I figure if I have two of the same game, one table can use the $2s with $10s and $20s for rebuys, and the other table can use $1s and $5s.

Your thoughts? Anything else I should be considering? I don't want to go over 4000 chips.

Thanks!

I’d go with 1 large cash set and 1 non-denominated limit set. Would probably save you from having to buy 4,000 chips

Scrap the 2's and go with snappers. The non-denom way is a good way, too, but if you go with 1's and 2.50s you can consolidate your games you spread a bit and still cover the stakes you are looking to play:
2/4 and 3/6 with the ones
5/10 7.5/15 with the snappers
*for 3chip/6chip games, you might want more than 1000 chips....maybe 1200 or so.
the 5's will cover 10/20 limit AND nl games

You don't need 10's for anything, scratch those.
20's and 25's are kinda redundant if you aren't doing tournaments. Choose one and buy more of that.
