Recently @p5woody completed the design on my Cash Set to match my tourney set. Looking at ordering the following to be able to accompany 25¢/50¢ games as well as $1/$2 games.

25¢-100
$1-400
$5-400
$20-80
$100-20

Let me know if this will work. Trying to stay around 1000 chips but if you think I absolutely need more of a certain chip please let me know. The T25K is an addon to my tourney set. Thanks for any help.

I’d think you may want another rack of the 25c. For the 1/2 game, I think you’re set.
Chips look great
After a second thought, maybe one less rack of ones and add the 25c rack. That way you could still stay at 1000 chips

If this set is only for 1 table, one rack of 25c chips is fine.

I’d go with 300 $1’s and 500 $5’s. 20 $1’s per player is plenty, 30 is way more than enough. You will most likely never put the 4th rack in play or if you do find they just sit in players stacks as the $5’s will be getting used more as the betting gets bigger on later streets.

Also, great design!! Spots and colors are awesome!

If the dealer is good you don’t need extra $1’s. The dealer should keep the $1’s until he gets 5 of them the put them in the pot and take out a $5. Then eventually color up the $5’s with a $20.

If you are using a drop box for tips the dealer will drop the $5’s and skip coloring up to $20’s.

To be honest, I disagree with this as a point of ettiquette. If a players are gracious enough to tip, the dealer should accept it and get it out of sight as soon as possible.

Leaving it on the table sends the message the tip isn't significant unless it's a 5.

Don't skimp on the singles if the players are willing to tip them.

To the chips themselves I like the designs. I'm a little worried the pink quarters are too close to the red fives.

I like the concept of fading the chip colors in the inlay and I like the colors otherwise.

For $1/2, I would cut back the $1’s to 200 and increase your $20’s to at least 140.

In a casino I agree with you. There are unlimited chips, the floor refills the rack on a regular basis. But in a home game it is different. Pretty much every home game that uses a dealer I have seen do this. If they have a tray usually one row of it is for the tips. They put the $1’s in it until they have $5 then trade them out.

A lot of casinos even do it, including my local casino. It keeps the dealers tip box from filling up too fast. There is a small clear cylinder that holds 5 chips, once it fills up they put them into the dealer tray and take out a $5 chip. That way the rack doesn’t have to be filled as often and the dealer box doesn’t get full before their shift ends.

I confess I have never seen that.

I guess I am going from a place where if the game is generous enough for tips, make it as easy as possible, get the extra rack of blue.

It is possible you don’t even notice the dealer doing it. Did a quick google search.

This table has 2 on it, the smaller one could be for a bad beat or promo fund.

@Dr Lecterr and @Rhodeman77 how about this?
25¢-200
$1-300
$5-500
$20-80
$100-20
I know its 1100 chips but if will make the games run smooth its worth it. Also, would I need to bump my $1's back up to 400 if players are tipping the dealer? Thanks for all the help gentlemen!
I agree. If you're ordering customs why not be safe and have the extra rack? Maybe they sit in the box but maybe you'll be glad you got them.

The spots on your five are pretty close. You sure you don't want more contrast between the two colors?
