I am looking for some very good condition Casa yellow $1s, a rack would be awesome. I have a rack of mint World TH&C $1s, and mint Paulson Pharaoh's tourney denoms to trade if you want.

Good luck, I only know of two full racks and they went for a mint. I ended up relabeling the yellow and black $100's as $1's.

I bought the Palmas $1s thinking to use them as Casa $1s. :(

a couple weeks ago i might have ridiculed you for even looking for these, but after seeing the grand unveiling of the mapes $1s, i now believe in miracles.

I am new to this and just don't know how many $1s are out there. Maybe it is good to be naive and hopeful
.. Anyway, I thought I would put it out there just in case someone is retiring from chipping and wants to unload his chips.

I'm all for the optimism. Better than my default which is to refuse to attempt to create sets unless I'm 90% sure I can complete it. So basically I never create interesting sets :(

Good luck in your search! Just figure out who owns the only 2 known racks and then obtain preapproval for a second mortgage.

I have 70 or so, need at least 30 more -- so if someone named Deezer wants to open the bidding for those in the picture, I'll be standing by ...

Pretty sure that Michael (Nevada Jacks) had a couple of racks of $1 chips that he claimed were not for sale (during his initial unveiling of all the Casablanca chips). Dunno if Toddkeller33 managed to get them later when he purchased most of the remaining Casablanca inventory.

I have a few, less than 10 i think.

I have to say any color but white is a great for a $ 1.00 chip... the yellow is awesome no doubt but I would still have to but the blue $1.00 from the golden broken arrow at the top of my list. Used them last night and they just are awesome ....With all the Casa's out there it would be cool to have 5000 yellow casa 1's to pass around to everyone.

SOOOOooooo wish I had picked up more in 2005. Only took home a $1 and $2 for the memento case, not for sale, sorry. I am working on my "time machine" to send back an email via tachyons to a wireless network in 2005 telling myself winning lottery numbers and to pick up racks of these $1s. Figure 20 racks should meet the over inflated demand. Problem is determining where to send it in the flows of the universe to get it to my prior self, and to keep it out of the spam filter.......

There were hundreds of them on the tables in the poker room, wonder why they are so damn hard to get?

They are sweet, indeed. How many do you have? I think I have three racks, plus at least a rack each of $5s and $25s (solids, no spots, even though the ChipGuide only shows the spotted chips).

I also love the Ho-Chunk blue $1s, with giant inlays. Only have one rack of those, and I've never even heard of another rack. I'd love to get more...[/QUOTE]

You were lucky to see that! When we were in Aruba in 2011, there was no poker action anywhere. The only game even offered (supposedly) was 7-stud, and I never saw it go. The casinos with the most poker tables (the Alhambra and the Marriott Stellaris, ~6 each) used them mainly for bingo.

I hope it's better now -- we might go back next year.

So Larry you actually have a rack of 5's ? I need three more racks... I have more pics posted on here but have over 400 $ 1's .. this is very tough set to track down ...not sure who else has any ..I searched high and low for three years for these bad boys only to finally secure them ( can you post some pics of the solids? I have no idea they even made those)

thyechal, your best bet might be to find some THC chips that go well with your set and go with a mixed set. Or if you like, you can have a PCF vendor (such as Gear) create Casablanca labels for you. Good luck with your search and hope to see some pr0n when your done building your set!!

yeah if this were me on the hunt, i would get Gear on the job and find some acceptable alternative chipes. the great thing would be that since you'd be getting the inlays replaced, you wouldn't be forced to get $1 chips.

a good alternative would be the empress snappers. they were previously available here, but i'm not sure if liftapint has any left at this point.

Thanks, I just placed a post on Liftapint's ad. Hopefully he still has them.

good luck! next stop: gear labels here for full inlay replacements. would be literally as close as possible to the real thing using these chips and replaced inlays with a casablanca tribute design.

The Emerald Princess $2.50s arrived today. Now, how do I get the Casa design for the inlay replacement? Does anyone have it, and do I need to buy it? Or can Gear create one if I have them do the whole replacement job for me? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

talk to Gear and he can advise. i would imagine he's done Casa "tributes" before.

Ask "after the fact" as he paid for this already and may be able to give you some pricing love.

Thanks. I sent Gear Labels an email already, but will get in touch afterthefact.

Why don't people make it easy for me and just sell me a darn rack :)
