I've always figured they were a CPC set, but the CPC doesn't have that mold, or those colors, or tri-moons. Relabled Paulsons?

At any rate, it's an absolutely fantastic set!

I am so confused. Is this mold (MGK) missing from Robert Eisenstadt's chip mold index? I only find the Large Key and Small key molds on that site..... @BGinGA

The MGK mold was owned by (thief) Joshua Dalton, and was used by BCC to produce chips for him and others, often as group buys (with JD raking a usage fee for mold rental on every chip).

Several sets were produced on the mold ( @abby99 's Lucky Lady Club, the Suicide Kings set, these Capitol Room chips, and a few others), as well as both spotted and solid blanks, many of which were hot-stamped either by BCC or aftermarket stampers.

Dunno if the mold was ever returned to JD (unlikely), or now resides in GPI's possession after their BCC buyout (along with several other molds that BCC did not actually own).

One of the nicer -- if not the nicest -- molds used during the BCC chip era. No surprise that it was designed by the legendary @Johnny5 of J5 Design.

Yep MGK some of the nicest BCC made. Being a SuperGem/Large Greek Key fan I use to get ticked when I would see these chips identified as LGK's but they are really nice chips. Can't believe these are still available here. GLWS

Cool, but perhaps we could try to have this mold added to the chip mold index? Surely there must have been other chips made on this mold, beyond just a few BCC customs?
