Fellas,

Most of us here are sets collectors but there might be a few singles collectors as well.
I’ve started a fun long-term project to collect $100 chips from the major Las Vegas Strip casinos — including both current casinos and the classic, obsolete properties.

I’m especially looking for sharp to ideally uncirculated chips, willing to pay a premium for them. Looking for both regular size and baccarat $100's. Newer issues as well as older issues. I don’t expect to find everything at once, so whether you have a single chip or a large collection I’d love to see them.

If you have anything available, please hit me up! I have a US address.

Examples of some of the casinos I'm looking for:

Caesars Palace - 1970 version. 1980's or current baccarat
Mirage - 1998 regular and Baccarat
Stardust - housemold
Aladdin - 1970, 1980s issue
Tropicana - 1980's hologram version, hologram baccarat
Dunes - 1960s versions
Planet Hollywood
Mandalay Bay - palm tree sand version
MGM grand - current issue in mint condition. Baccarat orange spot $100.
Treasure Island - Ship/Parrot version
Flamingo - 2000 issue only
Slots a Fun Hotstamp $100
Lady Luck Inlay $100

Sharp Condition Only:
Rio
Bally's
Venetian
Palazzo
Sahara
Harrahs

Thanks!

Very ambitious! Good lad! Well displayed chips will highlight any card room/ man cave.

We all wait for photos on the way of your journey!

Gotten a few good leads trickling in here. Keep them coming.

I definitely plan to post pics of these chips as I get them to keep things interesting here

Made some great deals with some awesome members here willing to help out.

Still looking for excellent condition $100’s

Humble beginnings. At the time of this project this is the only Vegas $100 I had
The chip shown is an error chip with a $500 on one side

Are you looking for $100 limited edition chips from Vegas?

Here's an absolute banger of a lineup and one of my favorites. The Aladdin London Clubs.

The Aladdin Resort and Casino opened in 2000. London Club International, which is a British casino operator, invested in the project and development of the casino, which is why these chips have Aladdin and London Club on them. Eventually the property was sold and redeveloped as the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

The Mint Hotel and Casino opened in 1957 in downtown Las Vegas, and was one of the largest hotels there, directly competing with Fremont hotel and the Golden Nugget. It had an iconic tall pink neon sign that was part of the classic Glitter Gulch Neon culture. Eventually in 1988 the casino was merged into Binions Horseshoe casino.

The $1 is an awesome chip on the L-crown mold

Damn! This is a short-list GOAT $1 for me, very cool!

Not related to my $100's quest here, but I'm still finishing up some set projects here and there. With the advent of some vineyards on PCF this year I was able to finish this set. Thanks to a few awesome members for helping me out. @BNads86 @joeyshin @pltrgyst, there are several others I'm missing.

I thought this would also help break up the monotony of this singles thread

I had 5 of the Nevada's at one point in my ridiculous attempt to build a barrel, sold off 4 to the wild, so they're out there. One is missing and is laying in the street or some post office floor somewhere lost to the sands of time. Probably my favorite chip I own.
I remember you trying to do that, it would have been a sick barrel of hundos. Definitely a sweet chip, and they all seem to be in close to mint condition too

Palms Playboy - I normally don't collect limited edition chips, but this is a really cool one and the original palms $100 are ugly black ceramics.
In 2006, Palms casino resort entered into a partnership with Playboy enterprises and opened The Playboy Club Las Vegas. This venue was located on the 52nd floor of the Palms fantasy tower, and included a licensed gaming area, nightclub and lounge. The playboy branded chips were made for use there, but were interchangeable with any other chips at the cage.

Playboy club at the Palms was so fun.

Nevada club $500
This is an interesting chip, it shows up in the chip guide as an odds and ends chip. There are two versions, one that says "souvenir - non redeemable", and one that says "Gold chip player" like the one below. Obviously the souvenir chip was just a souvenir, but there is some debate about why there's a second version with the gold chip player, maybe these were given to high stakes players as a souvenir... perhaps someone here can enlighten me.
