Wanted Bright & Vibrant Paulson Chips for a California Color Cash Set (2 Viewers)

Hey everyone,

I'm starting to piece together a new California color cash set and wanted to see what everyone has tucked away. Since these will most likely be relabeled, I don't care if the chips are milled or not. My main goal is to find bright, vibrant colors with good edge spots that will make for a fun and unique cash set.

Here's the color scheme I'm currently leaning toward:
  • 25¢ – Green
  • $1 – Blue
  • $5 – Yellow
  • $20 – Black (or possibly $25 instead)
  • $25 – Purple (still deciding between a $20 or $25 denomination)
  • $100 – White
I'm not set on any particular casino or mold, so if you have anything that fits the color scheme, I'd love to take a look. THC, RHC, solids. I'm open to ideas as long as the colors are bright and the chips would make a cohesive set after relabeling.

If you have racks, partial racks, or even just a handful of chips you'd be willing to part with, please send me a PM with what you have.

Thanks in advance, and I really appreciate everyone taking the time to look. If you have a Cali color cash set drop a picture below I’d love to have some inspiration.

Thank you -David

When I think Cali set I think Red fracs not Green.

As always though, do what makes you happy!
"Technically" I believe most Cali casino sets use either a red $.25 chip or a green $.50 chip, so I lean toward using both in Cali sets for complete fucking overkill and maximum optionality lol :).

Might be useful to let people know (1) what your ideal set breakdown is; (2) whether this is a leaded or unleaded set; and (3) what condition chips you are planning/hoping to use in your set.

This is an example set that I love the color combos. I think the light green really pops with the rest of the set!
If you like this set, I could just make one for you. I haven’t checked Ken’s website in a bit, but he may have a full set ready to roll. If not, I have most of these and can get what is missing to make the set. Milling and labeling isn’t a problem.

and budget...
I confess that it read a bit like a dude walks into a bar on ladies night and yells for all the gals to show him what they are working with. The prize is to see who the lucky winner he may take home will be. lol

My idea set breakdown would be:
  • 25 cent- 100-200
  • $1- 200
  • $5- 300
  • $20 or $25- 60
  • $100- 40
I've personal have never owned a leaded set and really haven't felt the difference nor know the difference.

Condition I would like pretty crisp chips they don't have to be mint but excellent condition would be ideal.

I really like the set but I don't think I can justify the premium pricing on tiger chips.

Based on your interest in pretty crispy chips, I would say the set will probably need to be a non-leaded set since 300 pretty crispy leaded yellow chips with edge spots likely will be a difficult and expensive find.
