Agreed…RW seems to give a crap.Whoever that casino got for the GPI rep and chip designer is a shining star above 90% of the rest of them. I will say that.

They order well above average chips for sure.Agreed…RW seems to give a crap.
Agreed - I think RW is making a valid attempt to compete with Bellagio/Venetian/Aria/Wynn. Their biggest hurdle will be getting traffic. It felt a little dead the last time I was out there.Resorts World is my current favorite place to play. Relaxed but nice poker room, great food court around the corner, competition isn't too stiff. These tourney chips are nice!
It's just a little bit too out of the way, isn't it? Stunning resort though.Agreed - I think RW is making a valid attempt to compete with Bellagio/Venetian/Aria/Wynn. Their biggest hurdle will be getting traffic. It felt a little dead the last time I was out there.
Easiest time is going between tables after the tourney has started. Or you buy in, get your chips, and just leave before you sit down.Just curious, how easy is it to harvest tournament chips? I’d think it would be more difficult than regular cash chips because they color them up and keep a tally while the tournament is going on. I suppose you could pocket a few and get busted out before coloring up, but that seems like high risk / low reward.
^ This part.high risk / low reward.
Their daily tournies are $160. Usually get 2-3 tables during the week. It's run off bravo so they have your name and info. Harvesting tourny chips is much different than cash chips. I've never done it.

So I guess they blew the budget on edgespots and had to use the economy option for gaming compliance.
Yeah, they would probably ban you permanently for pocketing tournament chips. They typically rotate a few sets for daily tournaments. You could cheat by adding them to your stack for tomorrow's tournament on theory.Just curious, how easy is it to harvest tournament chips? Interesting that they printed a hat and cane, in black, on the inlay.
I can’t imagine Resorts requesting that, so it was GPI wanting to brand the chips…I wonder if this is the beginning of a trend now that they’re doing so many more house molds.
Who hurt you as a child?I personally don’t care about any of the colors or spot patterns because I can’t get over how much I hate the resorts world mold. Only thing worse would be if it said @Josh Kifer

But you don’t LOVE themI like the colours, spot pattern, mold and @Josh Kifer
amazing 4 color claws, same claw colors across the chips though. Is this just for one of their daily tourneys?
the "light" coloured spot on the T1K is different to the others. Most likely because the base colour on the T1K is same colour as the light coloured spot on the other chips or too close to it to have any contrast.Nice! Repeating spots and spot colors. First time I've seen that on a line-up.
I can get you a sample set if interested...I like the colours, spot pattern, mold and @Josh Kifer
Yes pleaseI can get you a sample set if interested...![]()
Looking good. Yeah I've never seen the 25ks used in the four daily's I've played there. Hope you enjoyed the room!I was able to get this from a great person at Resorts World (Leon) as I wanted to see the full set. Picture does not do the chips justice though. They must only use the 25 for larger tournaments perhaps? I was confused with the 25k photo (I did not get to see it in person) because the buttscotch color looks more like the actual 5k chip that I used.
Live photo is from my stack this last Friday.
