Call me ignorant but why are there WSOP chips in Indiana? I thought all events were in Vegas? Are these used for satellites or something?

Sounds like we need to move on to the next sale!

What about secondaries?
Secondaries won’t be known until purchased(if), but here’s the line minus the limited chip which you can see on chip guide.com

$5000 MIA
Curious to see secondaries
Would like this set though as my last and final set, wallet is ready.

Please let me know how/if you are able to accomplish this! I said the same thing after the Jack Detroit chips....
Lol, honestly, I’ve been collecting since 2005 very young at 20 and after I got my first set of PNY’s circa 2008-2009 I said this is my one and only... that didn’t happen. I have and got to have some great sets over the years. I’m just trying to be satisfied but it seems this vortex of chip madness never ends, I tried staying away for three years which I did with little peeks here and there but it sucked me back in.

Is that alpha dot with the white ring around it, on $25s and up? Why the ugly white spot?
Identify it easier, back then you had to look for it esp on some darker inlays, when you look into a scope it will say Paulson numerous times, most people don’t have printers that can print that small so it should be clear, if it isn’t it’s fake. I know cause I used to be a croupier long ago for both legal and illegal.

Bahamia might be bad example lol but look at PNY’s esp the $100’s, harder to find, I have them but I’m lazy lol, just look pictures on this site, however they did try to place them in a more visible area of the chip. White spots on jacks might seem to spoil the inlay but I like as it looks casino official.

If you’re a casino or gaming official and are looking for the micro dot, don’t you know where to look for it? Does it need a huge homing light on the front of the chip?

The white chips don’t have big black circles.

Makes the process quicker when dealing with a bunch that are compromised, you can see the dot clearer on white as to why you see them try to place it in lighter area’s of the inlay, no need to be black circles around alpha dot when it’s on the white area as bahamia show example well.

My point is, if you’re not looking under some sort of magnification, you may as well not bother.

If there’s a reason to check the security of multiple chips, looking for a small gray dot with your naked eyes, (that someone could easily forge) is silly.

If you’re an official verifying the chip, you do it under magnification, and you know EXACTLY where to look, white border or no white border.

when casino’s have compromised chips or suspect one being fake, they check, if compromised, they do not just look at the fake chips they came across, they go through all of them, in dark inlays even if you know where they are, visual fatigue will set in over time because they will be looking at 10,000-100,000 of chips by numerous staff on the security team, they pull them(hence why they have secondaries) the white dot helps when under the scope on dark inlays as they don’t just take their time looking but need it done efficiently and timely manner. They have to know exactly how much was compromised. Hope this helps.

I know what it is, but I haven't seen them with the white ring before. And I must say, I don't like it all. (The white ring that is. The dot is cool.)
Great for relabeling though. :)

I’m not too fuzzy but I see why people won’t like it. And yes great for relabel.

One advantage I've found with the smaller inlay of the $2.50 and $1s on these chips is that I dont notice the sound difference I normally hear between labelled vs non-labelled chips when doing full inlay replacement.
