Racks of T5-T100 could be had for less than $1k/rack as well a few years ago.

I don’t find it useful to compare to those times as much as it would be nice.

I believe that was only for a very short time though, and only from the original seller on eBay. When he was offering up racks at that price through his prison buddy's shady PayPal F&F account, just before he got whacked, I couldn't send him money fast enough to buy as many racks as he would let me take a gamble on at that price. I think even back then, we all knew they were worth thousands per rack. Or at least they were to me.

Like poker, play the long game. That is an insane price for that chip. It is a K rated chip going for Z+ prices. FOMO is real. People will need to get liquid at some point and won't be able to recover their costs. WW is unloading and some of his stuff is sitting. I'm assuming he doesn't need to unload them, but we don't see many of the collectors playing on HSP so at some point either they'll lose interest or need to unload.

At least that is why I am still hanging around.
