Great job with this effort @ovo !

Ok, since the other thread is locked in an effort to consolidate I'll post here as well to be part of the archives:

I'm pretty sure I own the largest number of 'Pete's Casino & Night Club' chips. I may have the only playable set as well but not sure about that. If not, reveal yourself as I need to meet whatever your demands are for your Pete's chips....especially 1's! :D

Breakdown:

1's x 265
5's x 610
25's x 200
100's x 105

Total: 1180

Paulson Red/Blue 'Pete's' decks: 72

How excited were you when you saw this set given that your name is Pete? Sooo awesome :)

Yea, it worked out really well in that regard Mac! I was fortunate enough to acquire these during an era (around 2005) when many of us PCFers were very active members over at another site. Jim from The Chip Room, a terrific vendor here and over at the old site, had these chips for sale back then. Even though I had just purchased a 1200 count Paulson Pharoah's set during the original group by for those awesome chips I immediately jumped on the 'Pete's' chips when offered by Jim....how could I not!?! At first he was reluctant to let go of the rack of 100's but I begged him and he was gracious enough to sell them to me as part of the set....all at a very reasonable price as well. A year or two later I found another member from the old site that had some he was willing to let go so I gobbled those up as well. Jim also had the Paulson Pete's decks for sale too which was just icing on the cake! But yea, to have real casino Paulsons with my name on them has me feeling elated each time I put them in play!

Yup!

My bad. Copied the total over from my spreadsheet. Forgot to subtract custom (non-qualifying) quarters. Will update!! (y)(y)
New guidelines allow those quarters to be counted as part of the set, since they were available to all via group buy. Just note that they are not originals.

@ovo Halloween Chipco 940 total
Crappy pic but proof of life :)

was that a custom set ??
Good question. It is listed on the Chipguide site as a fantasy set but I don't think it was ever commercially available which is sort of the rule of thumb I use for my site.

Legend has it that 1000 of each denom were made for a guy that gave them away as singles at a chip collector gathering years ago. His family then sold off the execess on eBay. No idea how true it is but I've been looking for years and they are rare.

I'm OK if you want to exclude them. I included them in mine because they are listed on CCGTCC

corrections

I think the Indiana and Argosy should be combined since The Chip Board puts them together (and less confusing) http://www.themogh.org/cg_chip2.php?id=INLAAR, but there is this:

The Indiana Gaming Commission requires chips contain the name of the riverboat license holder, which is not Argosy Gaming Company, but rather Indiana Gaming Company, L.P., which is only partly owned by Argosy. Since the license wasn't in Argosy's name, the chips couldn't legally have the Argosy name. The "ARGOSY" chips from the original order were returned to Paulson to be cancelled and a new order was placed with the correct name. Some of the $1 chips have been found "never cancelled". Only 1-$2.50 is known "never cancelled" and none of the higher denomination chips have been found "never cancelled". HS-cancelled chips have been found with the cancellation removed.

Argosy Casino (Paulson) - biggyT - 950 cancelled chips
Indiana Gaming company - (Paulson) - BiggyT - 350 chips (.50 only)

Also,
horseshoe casino Cincinnati secondary ( Paulson) - biggyT - 2400 chips

should be "tournament", secondaries are in my cash set, which is primary and secondary.

Per the guidelines, original starburst hot-stanped sets should be included. There are some massive ones out there.

starbursts are on the excluded list. I don't mind taking them off the excluded list.

Lol. Well, now that looks like a metric shit ton, which is two steps above hoard.

As much as i would love to be on the list, even as runner up to @slisk250s massive hoard, i believe @derekdd23 has the next biggest SDPM tourney set.

I could be wrong.

...and I'm thinking about downsizing my set by selling off a sweet 10 X 25K full set with color...maybe the list will change.

I currently have 1540 Tourney and 1880 cash SDPM. These numbers dont include any of the custom add on stuff. I will keep adding more when I can find them.
