B.C Wills & Co sold large key chips but they didn't make them, Burt Co did B.C Wills just placed the order. Made & sold are 2 different things.

Here is an order card (credit to the chipguide):

"LARGE KEY (LG-KEY) (a/k/a LARGE GREEK KEY) --greek key design, repeated 15 times. B. C. Wills & Co., Detroit MI and Reno NV, which made these chips from 1962 or '64-1980's. At least one other place offered it recently. In 1990 The Poker Store, Stanton CA, sent me samples...........I have for sale Harrah's Reno 1963 roulette chips, white and green clay. The green ones have the inlay on one side damaged some." per Eisenstadt's website.

Once again, those actual Harrah's Reno chips were produced (physically made) by Burt Co

Eisenstadt's site is a wonderful resource but does have inaccurate information in it, let's say it's has some bad wording. Selling chips and making them is different. Lots of companies sold chjps but didn't really make them.

I had seen this before too, plus the order cards on ChipGuide. Which all led me to also believe that B.C. Wills was the manufacturer.

BC Wills was the "Distributor" and Burt Co. was the "Manufacturer"

I’ve seen these chips featured on The Chip Guide and since they feature the company logo on one side and the weight on the back, I always figured these were house samples produced in limited amounts.
Would anyone know if these were produced in greater quantities? Are there racks of these samples just laying around in some warehouse? And if so, what’s the address? And would security be up for an extended lunch break when I come to visit? :ROFLMAO:

These are some of the Wills’ chips I’ve been eyeing for a while, particularly the green.

I only collect singles of these and am not sure if they exist in "rack" quantity. I can tell you the hot stamp solids are more available but haven't seen the same color/insert combination in quantity. The inlays are harder to find and go for $60+ each. Good luck!

@ovo I downsized my pca set I think WW or Ford pickup have the most here. Can you add a line for Carlton Cannes club please (300 Paulson and 300 bg jeton)

I see a trade of your extra 18 $100s for my 27 $25s so we both can have full racks.
