Best source of quality custom chips? (1 Viewer)

Classic Poker Chips is the only custom clay chip maker left in the world. You can check out examples of custom sets users have designed and purchased from them at the below link. They are very expensive and can take up to a year to receive. Both of these call outs are worth it though in my opinion

Ceramic hybrids ( ceramic chips with sticker inlays ) are all the current rage right now. You can read more about them at the below.

Thank you, I really appreciate it!!

you may tray Matsui if you want high quality plastic

I've also looked at CPC chips in the past and played with their design tool. ~$5 per chip is some serious coin. I keep finding myself going back and making new designs, trying to convince myself to pull the trigger

Maybe someday

It sure is. Good thing that there are many great options that can be made within the $3 per chip average. And if you get your breakdowns right, calculate quantities with efficiency in mind depending on your player and playstyle needs, then you can avoid overspending.

I always fall into the trap.

Well it's only $1 per chip more for this cool design.... and I should probably get an extra 100 just in case.... now I need to balance out the next denom up....

Can't seem do do moderation

All roads in PCF seem to eventually lead to a custom CPC set.

Get samples to find which mold you prefer. They all feel and sound surprisingly different. Direct here: http://www.classicpokerchips.com/samples.htm. Or scrounge the classifieds for samples (lots of fun, but be prepared to be sucked down the rabbit hole). Or a wanted ad for a second hand sample set of CPCs.

Paulson THC is the standard against which all poker chips are measured. So, I recommend you get a shuffle stack for comparison.

CPC is really your only option

But don't worry it is a great one

Only other option is to buy Paulsons and relabel them. That will take alot of time if you don't have serious (at least $5 a chip) money

Just curious about how you feel about “the highest quality” poker chips after looking at the cost options.
Quality tends to become subjective after looking at prices sometimes.

Paulsons are no more sold the general public. You can find them as second-hand Ferraris, mostly at obscene prices, if you ever find what you need to put together a playble set, that is.

CPCs are either off-the-shelf, or fully customizable brand-new Porsches. You deal with a very reputable business and know exactly what to expect cost-wise (and time-wise, approximately).

I 've spent absurd amounts of money for both.
If it had to be just one or two sets and the owner is not filthy rich or insane, like the most of us here, CPC is the only way to go.
