Learning Welsh as a child, I suspect your parents were Welsh speakers. I'd think it would be an awfully tough language to learn without immersion.

Yeah, it's an insanely tough language to learn if you don't start at an early age, sadly. I have no idea what moar chips is in Welsh, however...
