Huge Metallica fan here and while I love Lars

i also love metallica, but i assume that first response of lars was pure /s material lol

So this week is 5 years since Neil Peart passed. Such a loss. So who do you think is the current king of the kit? I think Stuart Copeland (The Police) is today’s best player.

So what other candidates are out there who merit a deeper listen? Please share a good clip with the group!

he is great for sure, but the fact there is either a drum track or another live drummer playing behind him in this video kind of takes away from it for me - it adds a depth to the rhythm that he is not actually producing live.
