For Sale BCC Desert Plams, Paulson RHC $500 Omar Bradley (1 Viewer)

I had some project vehicle (Jeep) expenses that I wasn't planning, but couldn't resist. So need to sell some chips.

BCC Desert Palms: SOLD

Condition: Very good used condition. Most still have sharp edges. I used these in around 5 games. Some were mint when I got them, some were supposedly used though I couldn't tell which ones. $5000's used in one game by me, $25K not used by me.

These are good - very good condition. Barely broken in, some are still a bit chalky. Could use some oil.

Yes, I like the colors on the $25,000 chip! A very good selection! (y) :thumbsup: Up to the $5,000 chip I have the china clay version but the $25,000 chip is a great addition to this set. It's the only non-Paulson set that I have. It's for to go.

Never handled these desert palms. Are they similar to the flame mold in terms of feel and sound?

I wish I had some flame mold chips to answer your question. My guess would be similar , but not sure. Desert Plams is a unique mold with writing on the mold edge, which might make them lighter than flame mold chips ??

I've also never had a flame mold set to compare. To me, the flame mold is close to a no-mold. There's not much character to it.

I really like the DP mold though. It's a fantasy house mold. Doesn't seem to have the problem with mis-shaped inlays like the flame mold. It's also pretty rare -- this is the only clay, inlaid set made with it (as far as I know).

I don't know the actual numbers regarding how many were made, but I haven't seen a set for sale in over a year. Though it seems like you don't see many BCC sets available either.

DP set lists on Ebay tonight. I would breakup the set if most are spoken for. Anyone want most of the $100's? I think people have asked for most of the higher denoms.

I've had multiple PM's for the $25K, so those are not a concern at this moment. Though if it makes the deal happen, I would sell them as part of one of the sets above.

The set is currently on Ebay, but would cancel that if there are no bids and there is a split.
