Anyone have a support line crimp fail on their Barrington? We were playing last night and heard a pop. The center of the table dipped slightly.

When we looked we saw this.

woah, never seen that before. Were your players using the table as a dance floor?

Nope. Just leaning on the rail. Didn't even seem like they were leaning with all that much weight.

I have a Barrington table and have not had this happen....yet!!! :ROFLMAO: However, it is an easy fix....if you are reasonably handy and/or have the needed tools (or can rent them). Check out this video that shows the general process.

Or, instead of recrimping, you could use a wire rope U-bolt clip like below (need to confirm size). You might want to wrap the end product in tape or something afterwards to protect players knees/legs from the threads and end of the wire.

U-Bolt clip

Good luck and I hope this helps?!?!?
