I believe it reminded me of chalk, not that eating chalk was my thing as a kid, but dusting erasers you get it everywhere.

Or as I like to call it "Dynomite".... :wideeyed:

doesn't taste that bad, just try to drink it over some ice, easier to down it if cold.

It's the scotch of the sulfate world, apparently. Good luck with the CT scan. They should give you headphones to listen to music while the machine is working - gets pretty loud. Have a genre in mind that you want to listen to, see if you can bring your own.

CT Scans will be over in a couple minutes and are pretty quiet. MRIs are the loud, slow ones.

On the contrast, use a straw and try to just gulp it. It's not great tasting, but not really objectionable, IMO.

Yes but I was very young so don’t remember exactly. Good luck and hope the scan goes well.

Get it nice and cold. It helps.

Mocha was actually better than vanilla if you ever have to do it again.

As was mentioned above, CT scans go pretty quick.

Yes! Good call!

Yes more chalk, not poop. However it can make you crazy constipated so have a suppository handy for after.

Constipated is the normal effect but some people (<----------) have the totally opposite reaction, hence why I call it "Dynomite" :whistling:

CT's are quick but god I hate MRI's in those coffins of death.

Thanks all. T minus 53 mins until I drink this stuff.

My wife drank it in the middle of an appendix attack while in tremendous pain so you'll be fine.

CT scans are quick and quiet. You're thinking of an MRI.

Drink lots of water after and take a dose or two of myralax to keep things moving. Contrast is poison so you'll want to flush it out as soon as possible.
