Has anyone had issues using US based PayPal to pay someone in Canada? I've been trying to send payment of $870 via F&F and it won't go through. Both myself and the seller have called PP without much help. Before I comb the internet I thought I'd check here first and see if anyone else has had problems.

I'm based in Canada, and have had US members successfully send me both USD and CAD within the last few days.....

Not Canada, but I sent an international PPFF payment a couple days ago and it went through with no problem.

It looks like the person you’re sending the funds to has been capped from receiving more funds. PayPal needs more documentation from the recipient before they can receive more funds. Pretty sure it’s not on your end, but theirs.

It says in that message, it's a problem on the receiver's end. Looks like they have taken in more than some predefined limit on their account.

Maybe wait a day or two and try again?

The odd thing is we've both called PayPal and both been told there are no problems and to have the other person call. I guess I need to be more assertive and get a real answer.

Yea this is a thing.

Somebody on this forum (wont name names) sent me money via g/s by accident and it triggered what could only be a W8-BEN request. I had to attest I am not a US Resident or non resident and that I had no US ECI. Was pretty silly.
