Aero Club" 18x25c, 14x50c, 1x$1: $43

Are these the chips with the wings? Are there denoms on the back?

Edit: Found the info I was looking for. Any idea what shipping is to the US for these?

Now looking to trade for Caesars chips:

Need rack or 2 of $1, rack of $2, baccarat 5s and a few baccarat $25s. All with the horse/carriage logos. Also looking for rack of Caesars ncv or roulette house mold.

(Trading for only 2-3 chips is not usually worth it due to shipping. Looking for larger lots. Could make exception for baccarats.)

It’s all coming back to me now... Well, I’ll take them after all... Send me a PM with payment info and it’s a go.

I like the angular typeface on the 712 Club stamp... I wonder if that was custom, or a font which got applied to other chips?

I tried to do some research on standard hotstamp typefaces, but came up pretty short. The Lewis Kingsley machine seems to have been very popular, and dominates Google search listings, but mainly seems to have been used for leather and pens... Not sure what the industry standard was for hotstamps back in the day. My guess is that there were maybe 10-20 common fonts available per common brand, besides all the custom dies made.

The 712 Club face seems to show up on some other chips (49'ers?) as well... So again I would guess that it came standard with some machine. Unlike the Kingsley hot stamp machine, presumably what was/is used for chips has some sort of slug for setting type on a curve.

Anyway, if anyone ever wanted to make a label or stamp which recreated that 712 Club look, here is a typeface which is pretty similar, esp. in some of the variants like Nesobrite Semi-Expanded:

https://www.fontspring.com/fonts/typodermic/nesobrite

The shapes of the digits are pretty distinctive. The one above is close on the 7 and the 1, not quite right for the 2. It seems like a variation on Banker Gothic / Banker Square.
