I’m undecided at the moment. Still have some work on my end to do right now so probably not anytime soon but certainly before summer starts.
I bet. Sounds like an extremely involved process on your end. Ok thanks! I was hoping it would close soon so I wouldn’t be tempted haha. That being said, I’ll be adding my order to the list at some point.
Thanks for putting this together!!

Really like the look of these chips but any where to get samples? Don't want to commit on a large order before handling samples

There are definitely some guys in the Toronto area that have 39mm cards mold chips, but only a few people have any of the 43s in hand.

I edited Post #43 a while back. See others have called out their edits. Sorry for any confusion.

Any chance of getting in on this group buy if I'm based in Australia? Happy to pay extra for shipping. Or would I be best getting it shipped to a friend that lives in the US?

From what I’ve read in the past is I believe it’s cheaper if you order directly from them vs paying the shipping costs.

Hi,

Sorry I'm very new to this but just wondering the material are these and what vendor are they purchased from? I'm looking to ship to UK but I also have family over in New York Brooklyn.

Thanks :)

These are “ceramic” chips that are made from a vendor in China.

How would you compare these to BRPoker custom ceramics? Thanks
I’ve handled the chips from BRpoker a lot more and I think that they’re nice ceramic chips. Others may be able to comment more on these card mold. What I do know is the colors are fantastic and a good value!

BR Pro ceramics are nicer in my opinion, but at half the price I think the card mold chips are really good value. I have a set of both and like them both

My biggest beef with BPP is most of their ceramics don't have aligned edge spots. I think it's an extra cost option but I rarely see chips where that was done. They have some neat designs, but the edges just tilt me. Also their blanks are all smooth faced chips afaik. No debossed mold pattern or circular area around the inlay artwork. BPP sells nice ceramics that look and feel like ceramics. Cards mold are ceramics that are made to emulate the look and feel of clay chips. To me, that is huge.

I'm also pretty tilt about the unaligned edge spots...they can clearly do it if you pay more so it just seems like a money grab. Why not just make them aligned stock, as chips should be IMO

Finally got my samples of card mold chips and I'm diggin' it. Really want to order now...

But can someone explain in general how group buys work in terms of shipping. Does the person coordinating the group get delivery of all chips ordered from the group buy and then re-ships it? So there will be added costs on top of shipping on-top of the cost from the chips?

There's a single organizer who collects payments and places the order. The amount collected includes the original shipping cost to the organizer. Once received, the GB organizer will re-ship to participants after calculating their re-shipping. In the US, this is usually MFRB or LFRB.

Thanks for clarifying - I'm based in Canada so is there any way to estimate my re-shipping cost with the amount of chips I want to order? Just trying to get a rough total

MFRB will hold up to 600-650 chips. Large will hold up to 900. That's 39mm cards mold, so probably less for these 43mm. I shipped 2 MFRBs and 1 LFRB to Canada in my last GB a little over a month ago. Total was $178 for 2000 39mm chips. So for the 43mm I'd estimate 10-12 cents a chip. Ballpark guess.
