I'm thinking about making a KGB set, possibly slightly customized label, standard stuff. But I want to also make plaques. What can I say...I love plaques.

Has anyone made plaques themed in the vicinity of the Rounders universe? Mayfair, NY Players Club, any well known underground type of thing?

Have you tried doing a search? I'd be surprised if no one has ever made Rounders plaques. But maybe not.

What part of TX are you in?

Austin area, howdy :)

Yeah, a few people basically put the panda on a mostly blank plaque. Clean look, but a little underwhelming.

KGB, Chesterfield had no plaques. Their real life inspirations, likey no plaques. If they did, I imagine they would be Eastern European looking, cheap-ish, lots of pearl and gold, bright colors, ceramic.

Im wondering if something a little more like "what if the Mayfair had plaques" ever was done. I'd love to see it.

I'm in!!

What denominations are you thinking about for plaques? Cash game and tournament plaques?

I'm still in the early stages of going down the rabbit hole on this one  . My vague idea, if I do pull the trigger on it, something like this one below in acrylic.

Everything I've heard about Mayfair and related places are their chips were meh, reflected well in Rounders KGB and Chesterfield's. If this universe did use plaques, they would be tacky and minimal. I also can't help myself but to consider Cyrillic letters, Poker Club for instance (Покерный клуб).

I'd like them for practical use as $20 and $50 pieces, so probably wither $2,000 or 2000 / $5,000 or 5000.
