Hey guys, I got scammed a few years ago when I bought a set of 1000+ Nevada Jack chips of various denominations. I was young, the seller pressured me and gave me very little time to look at the chips, he only showed me the most accurate ones, and I found out a little later that the whole set was fake.

Most of the chips were extremely poor copies, but some were very decent. So I threw out all the bad ones, and decided to keep 300 high denomination chips that looked good (125 X $100, 50 X $500, 75 X $1000 and 50 X $5000).

I am now looking to get rid of them as I have no use for them anymore, and I wanted to get your opinion on whether anyone might be interested in clean, good quality copies like these, or if I am better off just giving them or throwing them away.

IMG_4961 shows the fakes on the left, compared to the real chips from a recently purchased sample set on the right.

Thanks!

I'm not saying you are wrong, but is it just the print quality? I assume technology changed and things got crisper with later batches.

Here are a couple images (I'm awful at photos) which seem like the suspected fakes (not clean/blurry) which I got during the old PSO promos.

Edit: Also the originals had 'spinners' which when stacked has minimal friction due to a slight cupping. Quality control wasn't great back then. This was my first set, and I have 1900 still.

Ah, I remember that PSO promo. Easy way to get a good chipset.
