I don’t have very many plaques but I was curious if anyone else has a cool collection of them? I have never used them in games but I think they could be fun if you had enough.

I might have a bit of a plaque problem, and it's one a trip to the dentist can't help with.

My favorites and crown jewels of my collection, from the Sahara:

My $1000 is S/N 0101. If anyone has the other denominations with that serial number, I'm looking to trade to get the matching numbers.

(the MGM Grand lion on the right is actually an embossed brass plate that's likely from the tile-work on the floor of the main reception desk area at the hotel. The ones there have the black paint in the embossed area polished and worn away, but I have seen a photo not long after opening that shows the plates with the black paint in place.)

Casino Monte Carlo in Monaco. Apologies for the blurry photo in the middle. I didn't notice that when I took the pic.

One of the two 150th anniversary plaques from there next to a Caesars Entertainment plaque.

...and the other anniversary plaque:

Dragonara Palace and another view of the Caesars plaque:

Lucky Dragon Year of the Monkey, both sides:

Lido Club in Paris. You cant tell from the photo, but this poor plaque has a deep bow in it and some staining on the "cupped" side. This is the nicer side of the two.

The Matsui PNY high-denom plaques:

A plaque from @Jeff 's Windy City Blowout, one of the earliest meetups if memory serves:

The two smallest plaques in the collection, being not much bigger than a normal chip on the short axis:
AD-plaques-MGM+Kalahari.webp

...and the other side of the MGM Grand plaque:

A far from complete but still beautiful group from the Aviation Club de France:

And finally a handful of random sample plaques:

I clearly like collecting plaques. I have some Tina $100 PCA plaques for my PCA limit set for add-ons. I almost like them better than chips for that purpose as it keeps the value holders in convenient one rack per plaque quantities and will never get mixed into stacks and barrels of chips as they get used in the game.

Thanks for starting this thread @BeanCounter ! I have been away from home and the collection for a while and made sure to get photos once I got home to add here.

Oh wow, that is incredible! Thank you for sharing.

MSK. They did marble one side, glitter the other (different colors), but I much prefer the marble.
